my dadi's flowers

My mom says there are these beautiful flowers suddenly blooming right outside the window of our living room, near the couch where dadi used to hang out. So strange, since it is winter right now too. Maybe it is a sign that dadi is telling us he is happy and colorful in his other world - see her post and photos below.

I think they are all happy and active now in that happy world especially Dadi. he is kind of using those flowers blossom ouside the living room window to tell me. Those flowers are so pretty and last long, I am watching them every morning when I do my exercise in living room. I do not know how to describe these beautiful flowers. Let me try to attach their pictures in next comments:

Before 12/03 I was able to go to Ba-Li to visit Dadi twice. The first one was on Friday of previuos week: Teacher Pan drove me and General Secretary Chou there. They said they did not go to Dadi's farewell funeral because they had class, so now they like to visit Dadi's place. That day Steve kept contacting with us but it would be too late waiting for him to come, so Steve will go when you come back to Taiwan in late Dec. The second one was next day(Sat.): Howard drove me there before attending the Chinese Chemical Society Conference held in Da-Swei, the Temple manager told me that we did some procedures wrong on Friday as soon as he saw me on Saturday. Fortunately Howard remembered all the correct procedures and completed them, he is a good boy just like Dadi always mentioned. He is also a smart/industrious person like we all observe(My current two graduate students can not even handle half of what he was doing:). Not only Dadi but also we think he is like our family member. He helps Dadi and us a lot and Dadi really treats him like his own son. I always remember before dadi left for the other world he held Howard talking to him like talking to his own kid. And Howard helped so much for handling Dadi's Funeral.as well as other things....Dadi must have known all of these. We had good weather on both days. Originally You-Yu's father wanted to take me there on 12/1, but I cancelled it.(Too far for him to pick me up). Instead I bought food Dadi liked and may like now on 12/3 to let him and friends/relatives enjoy. And 12/3's weather was better than 12/1. it seems that dadi blesses on the days I need to do things.:)

12/5 last year was the day that Dadi left. I only put five banana like Budda's hand in front of candles. I think I like 12/3 better than 12/5. 12/3 was Dadi's western birthday(He will have Chinese birthday too:), and it was a Sunday. On Sundays we have got used to light candles and I can go out to buy food for him. Oh! on 12/3 Monica met me in Yang-Mei train station and bought fruit/pizza for Dadi.

12/5/05 was the real painful day, I could not accept that day for long time. But afterwards with many friends' comforts and often thinking about Dadi's relaxed/ smiling face, I realize more that it's a blessing that he left this world before me. If I were the one left first,it must be even harder for him to take it. Especially recently when I saw from TV News how painful his good friend Dr. Hu was: he almost lost his wife.
Anyway, Dadi is active not only in heaven but also in watching for us in this world. That's why in winter time the flowers keep blooming. Today I take pictures again to show that two more folwers blooming next to the original one. Ane all the original ones last really long.
