Onion came to tell me that according to Lunar Calendar Dadi's passing away date would be Dec.2 this year(Onion's birthday is on this date too), dadi would come back home from 11pm of Dec. 1st to 1am of Dec. 2nd. So I put many foods in front of Dadi's picture and lighted white candle before 11pm of Dec. 1st to ?am (after 1am when I woke up to go to bathroom:) of Dec. 2nd. Actually I did this as usual on Nov. 30th to Dec. 1st too since it was a sunday. I think Dadi's birthday was actually Lunar Calender's Dec. 3rd because his parents put his Lunar birthday for the household registration in 1945.That's why dadi was always kidding he could have 2 birthdays' celebrations. I check 2008 calender with luner dates, it shows that lunar Dec. 3rd will be on Dec. 29 according to this year's western calender.I will be in NYC, so we can celebrate his lunar's birthday together by the end of 2008.We can invite students dadi likes and still in NYC on that day (except Midas may be back to taiwan and Hsu-Yu should be in SF preparing for her 1/2/2009engagement.:)
