HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADI!

Hi H.B.,

I hope you are having a great birthday whereever you are right now! I wish I could've celebrated it with you, but I am doing so in my heart.

Since the last time I posted, Rich and I traveled through Europe in Italy, Portugal, Belgium and Netherlands. I think you must have been with us the entire time. Poor Zilla had to get surgery because she swallowed a plastic piece and it got stuck in her intenstines, but she recovered so quickly, I'm sure she had your blessings during surgery. I know if I could talk to you about Zilla's surgery, you would have given me the advice from when you had during your open hear surgery too. Her scar is so big, just like the one you had for your open heart surgery! She is brave and strong just like you, to go through a big surgery like that.

Momi went to Bali today for your birthday, I'm sure she brought lots of fruit, snacks and drinks for you and great-grandma and grandpa and granduncle. I will come to Bali in Dec/Jan when I go back to Taiwan. Momi and I are going to HK in Janaury - I will miss the times when all 3 of us used to go to HK and eat dim sum and walk around the city. I remember you always wake up early to find a good dim sum place and them come back to the hotel to take me and momi.

I still miss you so much and think about you everyday. Hard to believe that the last time I talked to you on the phone was 2 years ago! I love you.
